Giving Back: Gevorg Mkhitaryan's Ongoing Support for the Vancouver Community

At Motolux Collision Centre, giving back to the community has always been at the forefront of everything we do. Our CEO, Gevorg Mkhitaryan, recently showed this commitment once more by making two significant donations — one to the K9 Unit of the Vancouver Police Department and the other to the Shriners Hospital for Children. These are just two of many donations he makes to give back to the individuals and organizations that are truly making a difference in Vancouver.

A $2,500 donation was made to the Vancouver Police Department K9 Unit at a small ceremony held at one of our business locations. The donation goes toward the unit's efforts in training and caring for service dogs employed in search, rescue, and safety missions. The very skilled dogs are an integral part of law enforcement, and the contribution assures they continue to be afforded the care and resources they require. Officers, K9 handlers, and citizens attended the event to express their gratitude.

"Our law enforcement officers work diligently each day to make our neighborhoods safe," said Gevorg Mkhitaryan. "Assisting in any small manner is merely a thank you."

Furthermore, Gevorg Mkhitaryan donated to the Shriners Hospital for Children, which offers specialized medical treatment to children with or without the ability to pay. His gift will support pediatric treatment and recovery programs, providing children in need with a greater opportunity for healing and hope.

Determining when your vehicle requires professional attention can save you from costly repairs down the road. While some minor cosmetic issues might be temporarily ignored, certain damage signals require immediate attention. Here are five key indicators that it's time to visit an auto body collision shop repair facility. 1. Misaligned Doors and Panels After even a seemingly minor accident, pay close attention to how your vehicle's doors, hood, and trunk operate. If you notice: - Doors that don't close properly or create unusual gaps - Hood or trunk that doesn't latch securely - Uneven spacing between body panels - Unusual sounds when opening or closing components These symptoms often indicate frame damage that affects the entire vehicle structure. Professional car collision repair shops have the specialized equipment to diagnose and correct these alignment issues before they compromise your vehicle's integrity or safety. 2. Visible Structural Damage Some collision damage leaves no room for doubt about the need for professional intervention. Clear indicators include: - Crumpled or dented metal in the frame areas - Bent or damaged pillars (the vertical supports between windows) - Exposed structural components that were previously concealed - Creases in areas designed to absorb impact 3. Paint Damage Beyond Simple Scratches While minor scratches might be addressed with touch-up solutions, more significant paint damage often signals underlying issues: - Large areas of chipped or flaking paint - Bubbling or blistering in the finish - Rust formation, especially after water exposure - Uneven coloration or dull spots that won't polish out 4. Fluid Leaks Following a Collision Even low-speed impacts can damage fluid containers, lines, and mechanical components. Be alert for: - New fluid spots where you park - Colored fluids (green coolant, red transmission fluid, etc.) - Unusual odors, especially sweet or chemical smells - Decreased fluid levels requiring frequent topping off These symptoms indicate damage to critical systems that require professional examination. Auto body collision shops typically include inspection of these components as part of their comprehensive assessment process. 5. Compromised Safety Features Modern vehicles include sophisticated safety systems that can be damaged in collisions. Warning signs include: - Airbag warning lights remaining illuminated - Seatbelts that don't retract properly - Deployed airbags or pre-tensioners - Malfunctioning sensors or driver assistance features These critical safety components require specialized knowledge and tools to properly inspect and repair. Reputable car collision repair shops have technicians trained in diagnosing and restoring these advanced safety systems to manufacturer specifications. When to Act Quickly? While some minor aesthetic issues might wait, certain situations demand immediate professional attention: - Mechanical components that are visibly damaged or making unusual noises - Inability to drive in a straight line without constant steering correction - Exposed sharp edges that could cause injury - Water is leaking into the passenger compartment after rain In these cases, postponing repairs can lead to more extensive damage, compromise vehicle safety, or result in significantly higher repair costs. By recognizing these five critical signs and acting promptly, you can protect your investment, ensure your safety, and potentially save significant money by preventing additional damage from developing.
